People Finder Interchange Format

PFIF is a data model and an XML-based exchange format for sharing data about people who are missing or displaced by natural or human-made disasters.

The current version is PFIF 1.4, released May 29, 2012.

If you are using PFIF 1.1, PFIF 1.2, or PFIF 1.3, please see the section on changes in PFIF 1.4 which summarizes all the changes from previous versions.

Implementors of PFIF should read the PFIF FAQ. Please join the PFIF working group list if you have feedback and suggestions for PFIF.
